Roadmap Overview

Steadybase's four-phase roadmap from security hardening to enterprise scale.

Roadmap Overview

Steadybase is evolving through four phases — from security hardening to enterprise-grade scale. This roadmap reflects our commitment to building the right way, not just the fast way.

The Four Phases

Phase 1: Security Hardening

Status: In Progress

Close critical security gaps, harden the existing infrastructure, and establish security baselines.

Phase 2: Container Migration

Status: Planned (Q2 2026)

Migrate from EC2 to ECS Fargate, move secrets to AWS Secrets Manager, and implement CI/CD.

Phase 3: Enterprise Features

Status: Planned (Q3-Q4 2026)

SSO, MFA, PostgreSQL, and SOC 2 Type I preparation.

Phase 4: Scale

Status: Planned (2027)

Multi-tenant architecture, marketplace, and SOC 2 Type II certification.

Guiding Principles

  1. Security before features — We harden what exists before building new capabilities
  2. Transparency over marketing — We document what's real, not what's aspirational
  3. Incremental delivery — Each phase is useful on its own, not dependent on future phases
  4. Enterprise-first architecture — Every decision considers the path to SOC 2 and enterprise adoption

What's Not on the Roadmap

Being explicit about what we're not building (for now):

  • On-premise deployment
  • Self-hosted option
  • Multi-cloud support (AWS only)
  • Custom LLM fine-tuning
  • White-label / OEM
